The reaching out, the risking of his fragile hope, nearly undid him, yet, his heart would allow nothing less. Aragorn had asked, and now he must wait, and he dared not push or attempt to persuade. This man was worth much more than that, and Aragorn must win him with only the truth he put in his eyes.
At last, the answer, spoken roughly. "Yes."
Aragorn breathed, took Boromir's hand in his, and rejoiced. He had won Boromir's body for this night, yet Aragorn ached for more. Somehow, he would do it. His heart would allow nothing less.
Summary: Aragorn had asked, and now he must wait.
