Aragorn would not let him go down to the sea with the arrows still in him.
They'd broken the shafts off roughly. Then Aragorn had carried him down the hillside, cradled in his arms, going slowly on the slippery leaf mould underfoot. And he talked to Boromir all the way, did not care that the Elf and the Dwarf heard him.
As Legolas prepared the boat, Gimli built up the fire for hot water to cleanse him. Aragorn began one last time to undress his love and as his fingers touched Boromir?s skin, he realised that Boromir was still warm.
Summary: Aragorn will care for him.
