The crowd outside the hotel grew. Anticipatory calls, excited chatter from the fans gathered.
Sean leant back into the shade of the curtain. He watched as the cars discharged the importance of people: deliberately scruffy director, expensively elegant starlets and the star. There was a pause as the hand reached, took, signed, returned many enriched morsels. A face lifted, smiled vaguely at all the wide-open adoration, then the eyes searched, felt and looked at the apparently blank window.
Viggo smiled wholeheartedly then. He gave his heart through his smile, his eyes, to the waiting eyes and heart behind the glass.
