The upstairs curtains were drawn for the usual reason. Prying telescopes, peering eyes with cameras ready, night and day.
They couldn't see that the visitor's bedroom was empty, unused.
Sean's room was at the back, protected from those prying eyes by shrubs, trees, empty skies. His curtains were kept open.
Viggo woke each day with dawnlight lifting shadows from the strongly curving warm back, the slow rising-falling smooth, palely moulded chest of his lover. Viggo prized his mornings here, when he could breathe Sean's quiet breath, scent him; feeling his own body softly aching from being so well loved.
