In the council chamber, in the great hall, in company, in the street, in the practice ring, in the hunting field, in the circle of family and friends even, Boromir addresses him as ‘Sire…Great King…my Lord.’ Yet beyond training or protocol, Boromir’s faith runs deeper, to a simple belief in this true and gentle man.
Aragorn hears the call of all Gondor in this one strong voice reminding him of what is expected of Elessar, King, but in his chamber, in his bed, in his arms, he is ‘Love…Beloved…Lover’ and ‘Captain’ and ‘my Ranger’ and those moments are the sweetest.
