It was his death and it was a hard one, and it was cold, surprisingly cold. It was his death and it was hard and cold but he was a soldier, had always been, and so a cold, hard death did not frighten him. Shame did. He had never feared shame, he'd never considered it. He considered it now. He'd tried to take the ring. He'd lost his little ones, and himself.
Then Aragorn came. His King came and took away his shame, his fear. His lover came and restored his broken hope.
Darkness descended, and was warm, blessedly warm...
Summary: At Amon Hen Boromir does not fear death, only shame.
