1. Chapter 1 by Alex Quine
Long years of sleeping on frozen ground had left the King with a nagging pain at the swell of his buttocks whenever the first snows came.
At an open window the Sisters watched Boromir wield the whip of stinging nettles with a will.
“Ooh, sister,” breathed one, as a soft yelp reached their ears, “surely the King knows that a tea brewed from the leaves…”
“He knows.”
There was moment’s pause during which the whip rose and fell, there was another yelp, and what sounded suspiciously like an evil chuckle from the Lord Steward.
“Does Lord Boromir know?”
“Oh yes.”
